The Fernand Braudel Institute of World Economics will begin a series of conferences about the global economic crisis and its effects on Brazil.

The conferences will begin next Thursday, March 19, at 18:00. Our speaker will be Paulo Tenani (CV and article), who holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University. The special guest is an international finance professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas and will open the debate with a description of discrepancies between checking accounts and public debts.
