Agribusiness has become one of the main topics in the political debate during the last few weeks of the electoral campaign. All of the presidential candidates are seeking the support of the big agro companies. Candidates make lofty promises, but what are the issues that need to be resolved? Are the ecological frontiers of agriculture more important than the logistical efforts of how to get products to the market? What could government do? Where is the balance between the promises and the fears of producers?
Marcos Sawaya Jank, global director of Coorporative Affairs of BRF and member of our institute, and Roberto Rodrigues of FGV, ex-minister of Agriculture will debate these topics in a seminar promoted by the Institute Fernand Braudel.
