This work, developed by the statistical researcher José Peres Netto, creates a ranking of crime in the 60 largest cities of Sao Paulo (excluding the capital). The ranking was developed from the coefficients of 10,000 inhabitants from 1995-98 for four types of crime: homicide, theft, robbery and vehicle theft.
