As stated in the presentation of the ranking of large cities, we are now releasing the ranking of medium-sized municipalities, using the same criterion in the ranking of large municipalities. This study covers all municipalities with a population between 40 and 99,000 inhabitants (estimate for July 1, 1998). There are 70 municipalities.
